David was facing a terminal
illness when a friend brought him to
hear Will Graham preach the Gospel
in Northwest Territories. “It takes
guts to take a stand for Christ,”
David heard Will say. “But you’ll
never regret it. Don’t let this moment
slip by.” David didn’t. As Will gave
an invitation, David said yes to Christ:
“Will said he’d made a lot of mistakes
and it was God who helped him;
I thought He could help me too.”
Ashley was recovering after a
vicious windstorm damaged her Ottawa
home. As two Billy Graham Rapid Response
Team chaplains came to her side, God gave
them the opportunity to share the Gospel
with Ashley using our Steps to Peace With
God booklet. A phone call almost stopped the
conversation, but Ashley quickly returned to
the booklet. “Do you believe what you just
read?” one of the chaplains asked. “I believe
that,” Ashley replied and prayed to receive
Christ as the chaplains rejoiced.
Nathan and Karalee’s
marriage was near the breaking point.
The strain of post-traumatic stress
disorder from Nathan’s police work
was driving the couple apart. But God
used a Billy Graham law enforcement
retreat to help them see hope for the
future. God softened Nathan’s hurting
heart as seeds of the Gospel were
sown and, after the retreat, a Christian
friend led them to faith in Jesus.
“I finally developed a heart that truly
wanted to pursue Christ,” Nathan said.
Ruth was wrestling with many life
struggles. Without Christ, she didn’t know
where to turn. But she saw hope when she
watched a 60-second Gospel TV spot from
Franklin Graham. Ruth quickly called the
number on the screen and connected
with a Billy Graham call team member.
As they spoke, the Holy Spirit softened
Ruth’s heart. With tears, she received
Christ in repentance and faith. Praise God!
The team member then helped connect
Ruth with a nearby Bible-believing church.
Ah Keong in Malaysia
was fighting to keep his marriage
going. Going online to look for
answers, he found
Search for Jesus,
our online ministry, and connected
with a Chinese-speaking Canadian
volunteer. Over several weeks of online
conversation, Ah learned about Jesus
and His gift of salvation. Praise God,
he said yes to faith in Christ. With his
permission, we connected Ah with a
pastor who traveled six hours to meet
Ah and disciple him in his new faith.
Kelly was searching and
praying for a way to inspire evangelism
in the hearts of his Christian university
students. When he brought 10 of
them to a BGEA of Canada Evangelism
Summit, he found what he was looking
for. “It’s exciting to learn more,” one of
Kelly’s students eagerly shared, “I don’t
hear a lot of speakers who understand
the depth of the need for evangelism,”
she said. “I’m so glad to learn more
about sharing my faith.”
Your gift today reaches Canada and the world with the
Good News of Jesus Christ!
Continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel.”
