Broadcast the Gospel

For Ruth, it was a message of eternal hope in one of her darkest moments.

Your Christmas gifts bring the hope of Christ to people wherever they may be through television and radio.

Ruth’s Story

Ruth* was wrestling with many life struggles. Without Christ, she didn’t know where to turn. But she saw hope when she watched a 60-second Gospel TV spot from Franklin Graham. Ruth quickly called the number on the screen and connected with a Billy Graham call team member.

As they spoke, the Holy Spirit softened Ruth’s heart. With tears, she received Christ in repentance and faith. Praise God! The team member then helped connect Ruth with a nearby Bible-believing church.

Ross’ Story

Ross* called our 24/7 prayer line after watching one of Franklin’s messages on TV. The 68-year-old had a heavy heart and felt overwhelmed by his own sin—even after he prayed to receive Jesus during the TV spot. He told our team member he didn’t know how God could ever forgive him.

When our team member assured Ross that Jesus “has freed us from our sins by his blood” (Revelation 1:5, ESV) and prayed for him, Ross said that now he felt like the guilt was “flying off of me!” Our team member made sure Ross had a Bible he could read regularly. Because he’s in a wheelchair and unable to leave home very often, we also gave him online discipleship resources to help him grow closer to the Lord.
