The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada (BGEAC) is seeking a highly organized individual to join our Communications and Creative Services (C&CS) team as a Production and Administration Manager.
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is well known for the powerful evangelism and outreach ministry of our founder, Billy Graham. His mission is our mission: “Proclaiming the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to all we can by every effective means available to us, and equipping others to do the same.”
As the Production and Administration Manager, you will oversee the execution of print and digital marketing materials, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal teams and external partners. As an integral member of the BGEAC Ministry, this individual is expected to perform in a professional manner and deliver high-quality outcomes and will help BGEAC carry out its mission and objectives through participation in daily prayer ministry.
The successful candidate will fulfill a full-time permanent position in the Calgary head office. This position includes benefits of life insurance, medical/dental and short-term/long-term disability, RRSP contributions after one year of employment, and 15 vacation days per year to start.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Keeps stakeholders informed by providing regular updates to C&CS leadership and International Headquarters (IHQ) on project status, schedules, and deadlines
- Manages the approval process for the submission of print and promotional content from the beginning request through the release of finished products
- Works closely with designers, writers, and the communications manager to ensure projects stay on track
- Supports research initiatives by assisting in conducting studies to measure the effectiveness of communications strategies
- Maintains a network of qualified vendors, obtains competitive bids, and explores cost-saving opportunities
- Oversees quality control, processes purchase orders, and obtains necessary approvals for print and promotional projects
- Ensures timely delivery of mailings, emails, and response materials while following established procedures
- Assists in organizing and executing C&CS events, including the media relations center
- Sources and orders promotional items for departmental events and initiatives
Qualifications:
- Qualified applicants must be committed to Christian values and precepts and be in agreement and compliance with the BGEAC Statement of Faith
- Diploma or Certificate in administration, business, communications, or another related field an asset
- 2 years of experience in an administrative role
- Experience in implementing projects and/or events involving multiple departments and external stakeholders
- Experience in assisting a leader in the execution of research studies or gathering of content for research purposes
- Experience in event management an asset
- Able to create and adapt schedules quickly in response to changing plans
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and exhibits the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to be flexible, adapt to rapid changes, and multitask
- Excellent work prioritization skills
- Work effectively to serve as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
