Internet Evangelism Onboarding Specialist (Arabic)

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada (BGEAC) is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as Internet Evangelism Onboarding Specialist.

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is well known for the powerful evangelism and outreach ministry of our founder, Billy Graham.  His mission is our mission: “Proclaiming the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to all we can by every effective means available to us, and equipping others to do the same.”

As the Internet Evangelism Onboarding Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in recruiting, training, and developing our Arabic Search for Jesus volunteers. This dynamic individual will spearhead the planning and execution of annual volunteer events, aimed at providing invaluable support to our volunteers and, in turn, helping our organization achieve its Charitable Purpose and Mission of spreading the Gospel. As an integral member of the BGEAC Ministry, this individual is expected to perform in a professional manner and deliver high quality outcomes and will help BGEAC carry out its mission and objectives through participation in daily prayer ministry.

The successful candidate will fulfill a full-time permanent position in the Calgary head office. This position includes benefits of life insurance, medical/dental and short-term/long-term disability, RRSP contributions after one year of employment, and 15 vacation days per year to start.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitates the recruitment process for volunteers by scheduling and documenting interviews, conducting reference checks, and facilitating background checks
  • Develops and implements strategies to attract and retain volunteers, including outreach efforts, advertisements, and partnerships with local Christian communities
  • Develops and executes strategic initiatives to meet the targeted growth of the Arabic field ministry
  • Provides ongoing training and ministry development opportunities to enhance volunteer effectiveness
  • Systematically documents, analyzes, and reports volunteer feedback, formally and informally
  • Prepares and presents progress reports on key ministry areas
  • Manages volunteer inquiries, technical concerns, and ministry updates
  • Plans and executes annual volunteer events

Qualifications:

  • Qualified applicants must be committed to Christian values and precepts and be in agreement and compliance with the BGEAC Statement of Faith
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Arabic and English fluency in writing, reading, and speaking is required
  • Minimum 2 years of Arabic ministry experience, an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience or volunteer management experience, an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrates exceptional organizational acumen, problem-solving skills, and a self-directed work ethic.
  • Superior verbal and written communication with excellent customer service abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information
  • Detail oriented with excellent data handling abilities
  • Prior experience in recruitment and selection, or HR experience is an asset
  • Willing to work on weekends and beyond regular office hours as needed

Certificates, Licenses, Registration:

  • Valid passport with the ability to travel to the US or domestically
