Volunteer with the Co-Labor team during the three day Festival of Hope
March 3 - 5, 2017 at Rogers Arena
Print the application form and submit it to the office via email, mail, or fax. The Co-Labor Team consists of about 150 volunteers who work immediately following the Festival to process the commitment cards of ‘Inquirers’ (those who come forward at the Festival).

If you would like to serve as a Counselor at the Festival of Hope, you must attend the Christian Life and Witness Course. Counselors are those who are trained and available to pray with people who accept Franklin Graham's invitation to come forward and dedicate or rededicate their lives to Christ.

Don’t underestimate the impact you are making when you volunteer!

Frequently Asked Questions: Volunteers

I applied to be a volunteer, but I haven't heard back yet. Should I call?
No need to call. If you applied to be a volunteer, please be assured that we are processing your application. Please watch your inbox for details.

I don't think that I completed all of my application. Does that mean that I will not be approved to be a volunteer?
Not necessarily. If for some reason your application was incomplete, we will be connecting with you by email or letter to give you the opportunity to complete it. Please return it as soon as possible so we have time to process it.

Is there a rehearsal for those who want to volunteer?
There is not a rehearsal, however, doors open 90 minutes prior to start for the general public and volunteers will be requested to arrive before this time to receive training in the role they will be fulfilling.

Do I need to be available to be a volunteer every night? Do I need to let you know which nights I can volunteer?
We would love for everyone to be prepped to volunteer every night as it helps things run smoother over the course of the weekend, however we realize that not everyone can commit to that. Someone from our office will be in contact with you during the month of February to confirm your availability.

If I am a counselor can I also be an usher or a greeter and/or volunteer at co-labor?
Yes. Absolutely! We often have volunteers who fill multiple roles. We will only assign you to roles that do not overlap. You will receive a letter with all of the times listed for check-in for each role.

When I received my letter for co-labor it said that I was helping in multiple areas. Is this correct?
Yes. Often volunteers can hold multiple roles depending on their availability. For example, if you can stay later in the evening, we may assign you to help with the early role of statistics, but also with the later role of helping with the mail.

When will I receive details on the role/roles that I will fill?
Letters and co-labor credentials will be sent out in the mail mid-February. If you have not received your letter by Tuesday, February 21, please contact our office at 604-242-1193.

If you have other questions about volunteering, please contact the Festival of Hope office at festival@bgea.ca
