I believe the real question is this: What is God trying to teach you through this experience? To put it another way, what does He want to do in your life?
It's true that when we deliberately break God's laws, eventually we'll suffer the consequences (which is what your parents are trying to say). What you and your boyfriend did was wrong in God's eyes (even if many today say otherwise); the Bible makes it clear that sexual relations are to be reserved for marriage, and only marriage can provide lasting stability. The reason is because marriage involves commitment something that will always be missing in an informal relationship like you had.
But listen: God loves you, and He doesn't want you to wander through life without any solid moral and spiritual foundations. That's why the worst thing you could do would be to drift into another relationship like this, hoping that it might somehow turn out differently. Most of all, you would be continuing to ignore God and His will for your life.
Instead, I urge you to turn to Christ and give your life to Him. You need His forgiveness, and you need His guidance for the future. The Bible says, "Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near" (Isaiah 55:6). Christ will never let you down, for His love for you will never end.
